I find myself usually going for specific builds. What this ends up in is many restarts until I get the right mix I want. I think the current mode should be relegated to a challenge mode.
Quality of Life
This fix is quite easy to develop and deploy but it for sure will save a bloody lot of gamers' time.
I do know the build I wanna go and I really don't want to restart again and again to finally knock out the combination I want.
So before a session, show all start weapon, shields and body tiles to choose.

I believe that the game should be fun and not cause anger and irritation for the players, but unfortunately, when I have to restart the game many times just to select the starting weapons, shield and hull, it causes only negative emotions and the desire to delete the game.
I would like to have unlocks increase this level over time, to 4, and then 7.--Chimeric
In the current form, a random number of rerolls tend to get burned getting the start of a build down. Alot of the time you may even have to restart a few times to get a favourable start.
Perhaps as a cost-free toggle, and/or an unlock later down the line. The RNG is fantastic for trying new builds, but when you have an idea and are trying to give it the best start, those initial rerolls can help!

I would love this. I hate wasting time trying to find the combination I want.If a compromise is necessary, perhaps a small number of rerolls could be reduced if this option is chosen?
I hope that my recent change is a good comprimise. Now you have 7 choices at account level 50, so you never need to spend more than 1 reroll per choice. Marking this as "done". Further changes could be made to prevent the ability to "restart scum" in a way that is not frusterating.
The idea of choosing from 7 equipment options instead of 3 is great. But, for experienced players, the problem of restarts remains. Yes, it has become easier and faster to get the equipment you need, but restarts still cannot be avoided. It turns out that the problem remains, but it has become smaller.
To get the maximum number of points in the game, you need the MAXIMUM of resources. Each reroll has tremendous value. Therefore, I have to do restarts in order to get the necessary equipment, then that I can not sacrifice 1-3 rerolls, only glad not to spend 1-5 minutes on restarts.
In practice, it turns out like this - we have:58% to get the right weapon (7/12)70% to get the right shield (7/10)50% to get the right hull (7/14)Total:20% for getting all the right equipment (0.58 * 0.7 * 0.5)It turns out that if I do not want to spend rerolls, then on average I have to make 4 restarts in EVERY new play.
I suggest solving this problem with one of the following options:1. Make it so that instead of 7 options offered ALL (12 weapons, 10 shields and 14 hulls)2. Make it so that in the settings menu you can select 1 weapon, 1 shield and 1 hull, which are given GUARANTEED when choosing from 7 options3. Make sure that no rerolls are wasted when a weapon, shield or hull is rerolled
Now the maximum level in the game is 59. But all features open at 50.I suggest adding the ability to select equipment using one of the following options:1. Open this opportunity when you reach level 592. Increase the maximum level to 75 and open this opportunity when you reach level 753. Increase the maximum level to another value (at the discretion of the developer) and open this opportunity on it
