The campaign replaces Endless as the standard gameplay mode.
Right now there's no "in progress" status option, so "planned" will have to do, I suppose.EDIT: Custom statuses are now possible in Feature Upvote.
I wonder what the story would be like. There's definitely something to be said about why the player ship is locked in a square and attacked relentlessly for no understandable reason. Interesting! I really like writing, so if you ever need a hand, give me a ring.
I think this could be neat. Some ideas I have for different kinds of levels are as follows. capturing ships to add them to your possible upgrades for the campaign run protecting a ship with special cargo through a scrolling map full of traps and enemiesbeing forced into an arena with waves of ships that get increasingly difficultdiscovering blueprints for special ships, shields, and weapons
after the final boss, you could earn an achievement that would allow you to build your own custom ships, shields, and weapons to be used in endless mode. I think this would be an amazing feature, and heres how it would work. to make hull: You pick from basic shapes and arrange your hull, then move peramiters and check boxes with different effects to give your hull something special.to make shield: decide color and central design from presets and usable shapes, then add effectsweapons next
to make weapon: create projectile shape similar to how you make hull. add particle effects, glows, and other things to make it pop, and then mess with peramiters to make it work. here's how tha peramiters system would work. when you slide a certain perameter, others adjust accordingly to keep it balanced. an example would be this. you slide damage up, then velocity goes down and size goes up a little bit. I think that custom gear would be really cool and a real nice feature in game.
custom gear like this would also not be allowed in multiplayer(if added) or campaign. only a special game mode of endless.
I strongly disagree with this. Seems like much work that could be better invested in more mods, hulls, weapons, enemy's etc. . this kind of game need no story but more content to play around with. A Campaign would next to nothing to the whole experience and core gameplay.
